Strumming

Guitar lesson #2 was tonight and I learned how to strum! I also learned the theme song from "The Wonder Years"! I'm actually playing music now! It is the greatest feeling when all that practice, fingers hurting and frustration turns into a melody. It is one of the most awesome feelings! Thank the Lord for my patient guitar instructor, Mr. R!

My new Ibanez Acoustic Guitar

I start my guitar lessons tomorrow and I am just so excited about it. I have been wanting to learn how to play since I was a young girl and I now I am actually taking the steps to do so. I bought a beautiful guitar today too! It is a Ibanez Acoustic Guitar in black and it has a pretty mother of pearl accent around the sound hole. For the money, I think I really got a great guitar and I love playing it. I hope I stick with it, but I have a feeling I am going to love it! I am already trying to talk my friend, Dana into starting a band with me. We could be called "Dame Nation" or "Rock Petals". Let me know what you would name your band if you had one.
